Australia

As you can see, I made it alive to Australia. Our flight to Sydney left an hour and a half late, so we missed our flight to Brisbane, but we were able to get on the next flight and make the shuttle to campus so all in all not a horrible trip. Upon first impression, the gold coast looks a lot like Miami. It is wierd being somewhere so foreign that looks so familiar. Also, it's been raining all day, so again - something very familiar. I'm sure over the next few days as we get settled in there will be pictures and things to share, but for now I just wanted everyone to know that I'm alive and starting this crazy adventure.
